Looking for a refreshing mocktail with a little kick? This Immunity Boost Mocktail combines citrus, ginger, turmeric, and superfoods into a drink that delivers bright flavor and a gentle burn reminiscent of a cocktail, without the alcohol. It's refreshing, delicious, and made with ingredients chosen to nourish the body.

What is a Mocktail?

A mocktail is a cocktail without the alcohol. When I was growing up, a mocktail was called a virgin drink; today it's just a mocktail. A mocktail can be healthy, but you get to decide the content you want within your mocktail. You can use botanicals, citrus, and ginger to build your flavor.

I love this mocktail recipe I am sharing with you, using our Immunity Boost juice. It literally has all the essence you will find in a cocktail without the alcohol. The ginger and turmeric provide the burn essence you will find in your favorite cocktail, but they're providing your body with so much more. Both ginger and turmeric benefits are known to offer anti-inflammatory properties; they support immune function and soothe digestive issues like nausea, bloating, and flatulence.

Within this mocktail, you have the citrus fruits lime and orange, along with the superfoods Camu Camu, Baobab, and Mangosteen.

The Superfoods Inside

Camu Camu

Camu Camu is an antioxidant-rich berry from the Amazon, traditionally valued for its exceptionally high levels of natural vitamin C. The powder is known to contain 100x the amount of vitamin C found in an orange.

Baobab

Baobab, a dried powder fruit, is the only powder fruit that's actually grown this way on the tree. The baobab tree is called the Tree of Life, and this super fruit has 6x more vitamin C than an orange. As a vitamin C-rich fruit, baobab is also a natural prebiotic for gut health. A prebiotic is a type of non-digestible fiber that acts as fuel for the beneficial bacteria (probiotics) living in your gut. Someone once told me that a probiotic is the good soldiers living in your gut army, and a prebiotic is the specialized food supply sent in to keep the soldiers strong, healthy, and multiplying — an excellent way to understand the benefits of a prebiotic.

Mangosteen

Mangosteen contains a high concentration of unique antioxidants called xanthones. Mangosteen fruit powder contains xanthones, and the rind (peel) powder is one of the most concentrated sources available. Our superfoods are powder — we like powder because it's fast-absorbing.

What Are Xanthones?

Xanthones are powerful plant-based antioxidants found mainly in mangosteen rind. They act like tiny bodyguards that protect your cells from damage, help reduce inflammation, and support your immune system. Mangosteen powder contains these beneficial compounds, especially when made from the whole fruit, including the rind.

All the ingredients in Immunity Boost are tart or spicy, so we added organic sugar so you won't have to.

If you like a burn, add a shot of ginger and turmeric juice to top it off. This will be one of your favorite mocktails — you'll feel a slight burn, reminiscent of alcohol, without the hangover. Most importantly, you will feel good knowing you are drinking something that is fortifying and delicious.
