Cool Off Naturally: Our Blu Lemonade Mocktail Slush Recipe

Florida heat? It's no joke. That's why my friend Rita and I hit the blender for something icy, refreshing, and fun — and we're sharing it with you in this brand-new video!
We had a great time making this Blu Lemonade Mocktail Slush — laughing, blending, and cooling off with a slush that's as vibrant as it is good for you. We made it with our SoGo Blu Lemonade, a homemade-style lemonade infused with blue spirulina, a natural plant-based nutrient native to alkaline lakes. Blue spirulina contains a powerful antioxidant pigment called phycocyanin. Research has shown that spirulina exhibits anti-inflammatory activity and immune enhancing properties.
What's In the Slush?
- Ice (we filled a 12oz cup with ice)
- 1/2 bottle of SoGo Blu Lemonade (if you need more, add more)
- 3 sprigs of fresh mint
- A hint of agave (optional for additional sweetness; the ice dilutes the blue lemonade flavor.)
- Squeeze of lemon if you want to kick up the tang
This mocktail is perfect for:
- Hot days when the sun won't quit
- Post-workout cool downs
- Hosting friends or family
- Giving the kids something fun and healthy (no additives or dyes) to enjoy
Rita and I always have fun together, and this was a great moment with my friend. We like to keep it real and love to stay grounded. It's a reminder that you don't need much to feel good — just real ingredients and a little creativity.
